Karl and I will begin working in earnest on this kit soon... Structures are almost designed and ready for pilot modeling... Any thoughts or comments???

That would be awesome, really excited about this one, I for one know this will be the kit that will really finish out the whole logging camp. I remember thinking, to bad I missed the water tank and engine house, problem solved? Thanks Brett.

Not quite; Brett is apparently going to break out the donkey shop as a separate kit of its own so it will eventually be logging camp+. Can't wait to see photos of both even though the donkey shop will be a future addition.

The donkey shop will be in the near future since I am really excited about making it... it will be better as the focal point of its own diorama.

I'm hoping that the kit(s) will contain a somewhat complex overhead pulley and belt drive system as I suspect (big guess on my part) that the kit(s) will have detailed interiors.

Also, looking forward to a possible release in O-scale on down the road.

The service shop will include a completely detailed interior with large doors and windows to view all the clutter... There are auxillary storage buildings to round out the profile. Looks awesome as a stand alone or as part of the logging camp scene. Working on a traveling crane but that might be too big and overkill - don't want it to look industrial!

I really would like to have the traveling crane so I don't have to get the railroad camp just to have that, and stick with the logging camp buildings theme. I hope you include it.

Will there be some sort of water tower also? I thought I read somewhere it was part of the kit. Maybe I am just dreaming.

A possible pairing might be this kit from Rio Grande Models:

OK, I give up. Did the browse for the .jpg file (had it on my desktop for easy access), then clicked on the insert button to get it into the post. You can see the (lack of) results...

    What am I missing?

This is just plain strange; my posted image shows up under Firefox 4 but not under IE8.

Mike , I had the same problem. If you go to tools and compatibility view they show up.

That works, thanks. Microsoft seems to think the root cause of the problem lies in a need to update something in the website to make it compatible with IE8 and IE9. I don't use Win7 on this machine very often (this PC is so old it's hanging on by a thread) but when I get a chance I'll see if I have the same problem with IE9.

For whatever it's worth, I came in using the IE 8.0.7600 build running in a 64 bit environment and all the pictures, etc are coming through OK. I usually use FireFox but tried the IE browser to see if there would be any issues and there are no problems which I can see. I'm also using Win7 for the OS here.
