Our disconnects are based upon a wood decked Globe Style Disconnect commonly used throughout the woods of North America well into the 1940's. Operation is very addictive watching these little gems snake their way through the woods and to the log pond. The cars include everything except couplers and logs. |

The pedestal plate and bunk pivot plates are etched brass for the utmost detail, ease of construction, and scale thickness. The frame, log bunk, and journal boxes are cast white metal. Additional details are cast resin. The deck is made from scale thickness stripwood so each car is unique. Beautiful plastic spoked wheels are included and allow these cars to be incredibly free wheeling, they actually work like real disconnects. |

Assembly is fast and easy using Super Glue and Epoxy. No Soldering! Each car takes about thirty minutes so you can assemble several in just one evening. |
