Updated Diorama Floorplan Information:
At the suggestion of my good friend Karl Allison I added a Shingle Mill.
I have always wanted to model this unique kind of mill and it fits perfectly here.
The Mill Engine and Boilerhouse now drives the
smaller shingle mill.
The wood cutters shack completes the
trackside trio of the tool and rigging sheds
along the main right of way. What an awesome scene!
A comprehensive O Scale sawmill diorama detailed in classic SierraWest tradition.
Includes all the structures and details you need to complete the ultimate O Scale logging empire. Incorporating existing SierraWest kits and details with new and exciting projects, the Deer Creek millsite sits at the basin of a small hillside. Deer Creek runs at the base of the hill with bunkhouses scattered among the rocky outcroppings in the background. Over 18 structures comprise the millsite. Can't you just hear that Shay clacking down the track with a full load of big sticks for your mill?
