TR-400 Caterpillar Model D8
This is a re-issue of the CHB kit with heavy modifications.
The tread assembly is a one piece resin castings as is the
main frame, deck, seating,
underbody, radiator, and engine. The engine details and operating levers are all white metal.
The photograph represents a CAT D8 under repair. The kit will also build up into
a "working" D8 for your logging empire.
Please keep in mind this is a kit that when
constructed builds into a beautiful static display model.
Kit includes all the details
needed to construct the CAT D8 as pictured plus additional parts to finish
the tractor
including the radiator, fuel tank, and a simple Hyster winch.
Detailed assembly and weathering instructions plus
an assortment of extra details
like the cans and bottles, jack, chain, and tools are also enclosed for you
to make a complete scene with your CAT D8.
