The two main structures, Foss Launch Company and Foss’ Clam & Oyster Company are shown in this view. If the red Clam & Oyster building looks familiar it should! Originally part of Shelby’s Marine, my most requested structure is now available on its own. Many new castings are included along with the all important decals used to sign the buildings. These give the diorama the true flavor and character of all that is waterfront modeling! Be sure and check out the information on the two beautiful fishing boats. They finish the scene (or any marine scene) and bring it all to life!

A rear shot of the Launch Company and the 36’ foot fishing boat under repair. The small rowboat shack and Clam & Oyster Company are off to the left of this view. The entire diorama is only 16” square!

The Clam and Oyster Company sits high upon a raised dock with a cement retaining wall providing the height barrier between the two main structures. The cement wall is overgrown with vines. A short stairway between the two docks is visible in the bottom left portion of this view. The Accessory Pack includes detailed instructions for constructing the multilevel diorama and additional details like the stairway shown here.

A view of the Launch Company dock and all the beautiful details including the “Live Bait” case with color decals. The 36’ Fishing Boat Under Repair is visible in the background.

A beautiful water level shot of the left side of the diorama. It is the combination of the structures, details, scenery, and the magnificent fishing boats that combine to make it look so real! Can you smell the salt water and fish? Our comprehensive instructions cover all of these aspects and more. Those familiar with my kits know well how complete my instructions are allowing you to capture the same realism and character shown here.

By now you have gotten a feel for the relationship between the main structures. Their different coloring, siding, shapes, roofing, and details create a true sense of individuality. They are tied together nicely with weathering so they fit well together blending into one truly fine waterfront scene. If you already own Shelby’s try modeling the Clam and Oyster Company in a different color like faded green to differentiate the two. This will allow you to model the Foss’ Landing scene in its entirety.

This view of the back left rear corner shows where the small rowboat shed is tucked away under the tree. The shed is a perfect introduction to board on board construction due to its small size and simple layout. The trucks are commercial kits bashed to look a bit unique. These are simple projects that only require a spare evening to complete.

How about the two beautiful fishing boats sitting in the calm water? They are now available in kit form with a single piece resin hull and all the details pictured! Nautical details and rigging instructions are also included.
