the Machine Shop at Deer Creek
The Old Barn has stood the test of time!
The building features a magnificent hand laid stone wall. Over 40 hours was
spent creating the master for just this large wall. It is incredible! It features over
300 individual stones, hand laid in the same manner a stone mason would have made the real thing for the utmost in realism. Detailed on both sides for great interior views.
Farmers settled the land and cleared the very first trees allowing sunlight to reach the fertile soil. They soon however realized there was money in the tall stands of timber. Years later all that remained of the old barn was the stone wall when the Deer Creek Land and Timber Co. converted it into their Machine Shop. Massive as the wall is, it would not surprise company officials if it stood another hundred and fifty years! But by then all the timber will be gone and the farmers will have returned to the land.
