A
side view including the abandoned water tank. It used to service a spur
track but now provides water to the boiler/mill engine. The water tank
is a one piece resin casting and has all the classic proportions of an
old logging tank. The diorama is brimming with clutter and details inside
and out. The mill engine porch is such a classic scene. |

Included
is a small 100 h.p. mill engine and boiler to power the complete overhead
belt drive system in the Machine Shop extension. The mill engine and boiler
are enclosed in a small porch. The different wall and roofing materials
play such an important role in defining the age of the structures and
lend an air of agelessness to the diorama. Note the side of the stone
wall peeking through under the legs of the large water tank. |

complete with two rolls of extra toilet paper and a few books and magazines!
(No expense spared for the machine shop employees.) The techniques presented
in the manual cover all the board on board basics. Even if this is your
first “big” craftsmen kit, you will feel comfortable working with the
materials! |
