Dozens of new masters were made for this kit. New workbenches, shelves, junk piles, etc... Cast in my exclusive tinted resin and  metal parts. Board on board on batten construction over digitally reproduced templates insure accurate and detailed walls. The laser cut windows provide the opportunity to model individual panes of glass with ease and realism.

A side view including the abandoned water tank. It used to service a spur track but now provides water to the boiler/mill engine. The water tank is a one piece resin casting and has all the classic proportions of an old logging tank. The diorama is brimming with clutter and details inside and out. The mill engine porch is such a classic scene.

A view into the interior of the Machine Shop extension and the lathe. three different roofing materials are utilized on the main building. Batten, faded red tar paper, and our new laser cut shingles. The mill engine piping is visible in this shot.

The rear of the diorama and the overhead crane. Isn't this a beautiful shot! The colors are so natural and blend well. It is this type of weathering and scenery instructions you will find in our construction manual. Our time tested methods insure results like those pictured.

Included is a small 100 h.p. mill engine and boiler to power the complete overhead belt drive system in the Machine Shop extension. The mill engine and boiler are enclosed in a small porch. The different wall and roofing materials play such an important role in defining the age of the structures and lend an air of agelessness to the diorama. Note the side of the stone wall peeking through under the legs of the large water tank.

Here is a view of the pipe storage area and the outhouse tucked under the trees, complete with two rolls of extra toilet paper and a few books and magazines! (No expense spared for the machine shop employees.) The techniques presented in the manual cover all the board on board basics. Even if this is your first “big” craftsmen kit, you will feel comfortable working with the materials!

The overhead crane and siding. The deep shadows illustrate the beautiful detail possible with board on board on batten construction. The depth and level of detail is unrivaled by any commercial siding. You have ultimate control over every aspect of construction.
