I took
a Rio Grande Models Linn Truck and kitbashed it into a tow truck. It is
the perfect accessory for this scene. Pictures are provided
in the manual if you would like to bash your own!

The rear of the diorama and the long wooden fence. Why does it all look so darn good? Good clean scratchbuilding techniques and the reliance upon the laser as a tool, not a way to replace the modeler!

Another view of the rear with the incinerator
and the traveling crane.

Here’s a shot of the Linn Tow Truck
peeking through the small shed.

The highly
detailed boiler and welding shop. The outdoor plumbing, ornate porch,
various colored and weathered siding, vines, and various stacks create
a structure with lots of character. It definitely has what I call that
“craftsmen kit fancy”.

Peeking through the gate into the camps
yard. The loading dock is ready for another shipment.
